VERSATILE young footballers from Soccerscool FC came together on Saturday to reflect on another tremendous season .

More than 100 children took part in the annual prize-giving at Highbury Fields, where coaches praised their stars for their “individual” growth and development.

Among the winners were Noah Britten, Gabriel Burnand, Solomon Baugh and Freddie Bebbington, who were all voted Players’ Player of the Season in their age groups.

Head coach Malcolm Hercus is really pleased with how all the youngsters are improving during their matches in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League and the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League.

“Our philosophy is to encourage our players to go out and play in the right way, to express themselves as individuals on the pitch.

"We want to produce great individuals who can work together, as opposed to the team being the most important thing,” he said.
