The Good Mixer in Inverness Street

• FOLLOWING the recent assurances given on behalf of the Lock Tavern (Lock Tavern is not closing and will continue to host live music, says new owner, August 15),  I wonder, with Suggs’s heartfelt pleas, (Camden Town singer Suggs’ plea to save Good Mixer, August 9), if we can anticipate a similarly favourable outcome for the Good Mixer…

Where the great and the good mix’n’meet,
May soon sadly have to deplete,
Does this signify,
GM, modify,
Or is the Mixer’s future, concrete?
