PLAYERS from Primrose Hill will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season on Friday when they take on Westway at Market Road.

The Under-11s side showed their battling spirit on Monday when they came from a goal down to rescue a point against Regent’s Park in the Camden and islington Midweek Youth League.

Goalkeeper Gus Beagles made a string of fine saves for Primrose but could do little to stop Regent’s Park taking the lead following a neat passing move.

Leo Haralambous earned his side a 1-1 draw with a spectacular individual goal as he ran over 40 yards with two defenders in hot pursuit before beating the keeper.

Primrose Hill went into the game in confident mood having netted a 3-1 win over Kentish Town on Saturday in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.
Haralambous again played his part as he set-up Ruddy Law for the opening goal.

Kentish Town equalised, but Haralambous turned from provider to scorer to restore Primrose’s lead with a clinical finish from eight-yards out.

Keeper Beagles then brought the game to a spectacular end when his long punt down field bounced over the Town keeper and into the back of the net to cap a memorable afternoon for the delighted Primrose players.
