A TEAM of solicitors will take up a 10k challenge on Sunday to help raise money for charity.
Osbornes Solicitors, based in Camden for more than 40 years, have not only decided to put a team of 24 runners into charity After Adoption’s annual Regent’s Park 10k run – but they are also sponsoring the event.
The event supports all those affected by adoption in the London area, including children and young people, adoptive parents, birth parents, and adopted adults looking to trace their birth family. After Adoption fundraiser Steve Joyce said, “The Regent’s Park run is a great way to make a real difference to families affected by adoption. The run is for everyone aged over 15. If you have never run in an event before – 10 kilometres is achievable.
“We are delighted that this year’s Regent’s Park 10k is going so well with a bumper number of sign-ups. With Osbornes sponsoring the event, it means more of the money we raise will go directly to helping our adoptive families.”
Serious runners are also invited to take part as the run will be held under UK Athletics rules with chip timing. Registration is £20 for individuals or £16 each for entrants in a team of five or more. Visit www.regentspark10k.com to register or call 0161 830 2023.
