• THE letter from your correspondent Isky Gordon is incorrect, (The IHRA definition is just that, July 26).

He may honestly believe that, as he put it, ‘‘Labour MPs and peers plan to incorporate the full internationally accepted definition of anti-Semitism into their own official rule books…” shows that the Labour Party’s national executive committee currently accepts and applies this definition, but it does not show it, and they certainly do not apply it.

It is to be hoped that your readers are not as credulous, and mistaken, as Mr Gordon.
