Council leader Georgia Gould

• IT’S great to see that Camden’s Labour leader Georgia Gould has said she is an advocate for Jeremy Corbyn (He can be PM! Council leader Georgia Gould says she has changed her mind about Jeremy Corbyn, October 12).

But only a year ago she supported an attempt to oust him as leader of the Labour Party.

We would ask Cllr Gould to prove her support for Corbyn not just with words but with action. She could start with a ban on selling off land to private developers and a promise to build more council homes.

Can she also stop evictions of tenants from council homes due to rent arrears caused by the government’s universal credit and the bedroom tax?

If she does this maybe voters in next year’s local elections will believe Camden Labour are true advocates of Corbyn’s political values.
