• ABOUT 13 years ago a female person threw three live, newborn white kittens into a skip in Fleet Road, Hampstead, because they were born deaf – no commercial value!

Happily they were all rescued and are alive, well and doing fine. My neighbour has one, Kitty Pooh. She is gorgeous, a delight and can even understand a simple form of sign language.

I do hope the breeder has paid some sort of price for her wicked actions.
