BUDDING young athletes and sports enthusiasts across Camden and Islington are being offered the chance to earn a two-year sponsorship deal this weekend, writes Steve Barnett.

KissKiss London, which stands for Kids in Shape Smile, Kids in Sports Smile, have launched a new initiative to encourage children to take part in the lifelong disciplines that will keep them healthy in mind and body.

On Saturday Talacre Gardens in Kentish Town will play host to the KissKiss road show, which will feature street-dance performances and interactive sports games as well as nutrition and exercise information.

Then, on Sunday, the fun-filled free event will be moving to Paradise Park in Holloway.

Five youngsters from each show will be selected for sponsorship for a period of two academic years in the sport of their choice, and will be provided with either sports gear, equipment, training facility membership, travel costs or coaching support.

The roadshow will be running rain or shine between 1.30pm and 5pm on Sat and Sun.
