SHE is the leading scorer for her club and on Friday Arsenal’s Kim Little was the toast of the country after she was named FA Women’s Super League goalscorer of the season.

Scottish international Little, 22, was presented with an award for her 11-goal tally by multiple Paralympic gold medallist Sarah Storey at a glittering ceremony at the Waldorf hotel in the West End.

“It caps off a great season,” Little told the New Journal. “I’ve been here for four or five years now and each season is as good as the next one.

“I love winning and hate losing and I just want to keep winning trophies and hopefully we can continue that in the Champions League and again next year.”

Arsenal finished the WSL season as unbeaten champions and League Cup winners, but their manager Laura Harvey missed out on the coach of the year gong – that award went to Bristol Academy’s Mark Sampson.
