Mural in Kentish Town

• APART from any considerations of brightening or blighting, the mural appears to be welcoming us to Kentish Town just at the point where we are pretty much leaving it, (‘Welcome To Kentish Town’ mural faces whitewash, June 14).

Perhaps this gives the lie to the purported altruism of global street art…
