A Sainsbury’s or a McDonald’s is no place for an e-scooter

• I WAS in McDonald’s in Camden High Street on Thursday evening when a chap came in with his illegal e-scooter – and drinking from a half empty bottle of wine!

He was not told by the staff he couldn’t do this. I presume had a member of the public been injured by this chap, McDonald’s would have been liable?

This isn’t the first time illegal e-scooter riders have been doing this sort of thing. The Sainbury’s supermarket in Camden is another place where people bring their scooters into the store while doing their shopping.

As cyclists are not allowed to do this dangerous practice, why are the Sainsbury’s door staff not stopping them?
