Revellers at the Alma Street Fair

• IT was great to see the weekend’s Alma Street Fair so busy, with a whole community coming together – huge congratu­lations to the organisers.

I’m delighted Camden is able to support our community festivals, with 55 different events across the borough receiving our support this year.

We know they are well sup­ported by many different areas of the community and have the added bene­fit of helping to bring resi­dents and visitors tog­ether.

All of the funded events will also receive a complete waiver of all fees and charges for use of space, trading, road closure, parking suspensions and waste.
