SINCE the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the Camden New Journal has pledged to provide clear information for readers without skew or sensationalism. We have endeavoured to signpost people towards the support and services that are available during this most challenging of times.

Camden Council has assisted by providing weekly updates on where you can get help. We are aware, however, that some residents may still have questions that they would like to ask, and so next week we are happy to be hosting a live webinar Q&A with some of the experts we have locally.

You may have a question about the vaccines available, or how to ease back into life safely as the timetable for lifting lockdown continues. People have already been registering and asking questions in advance, and you can too. We will try to put as many questions as possible to the panel on Monday evening, when the webinar begins from 6pm. For those who can’t log on, we’ll be publishing a recording so those with similar questions can hear the answers.

Those available to answer questions will be Piers Simey, Camden’s director of health; Dr Jonathan Levy from the James Wigg GP Practice; Dr Ehsan Alkizwini, from the West Hampstead Medical Centre; Fanni Mohamud, a nurse specialist at Hampstead Group Practice; Anisha Rahman, co-chair of Fitzrovia Youth In Action; Sally Mackinnon, from the NHS North Central London CCG; and Camden Council leader Georgia Gould.

It’s open to all, and you can get involved by visiting camden-covid19-q-and-a.eventbrite.co.uk, where you can submit questions and receive an invite to join online next week.
