SHARPSHOOTER JJ Connor struck twice to earn Isledon Wolves Channons an impressive win over The Hill on Friday in the Under-10s division of the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League.
Tristran Daley was also on target as Wolves ran out 3-0 winners at Market Road.
Isledon’s youngest team, the Under-8s, were also celebrating after winning 4-2 against Chapel Youth on Saturday.
Chapel took the lead, but Wolves levelled when Frankie Phillips’s cross was turned in for an own-goal. Frankie was then brought down in the box, allowing Tristan Baker to make it 2-1 with well-taken penalty.
The goal-of-the-game went to Louie Hartley, who found the top corner with a brilliant free kick, before Zhaviah Campbell hit a fourth to round off a happy afternoon for Wolves.
