Jeremy Corbyn should step down as leader

Thursday, 2nd March 2017

• IT is said that Jeremy Corbyn is an honourable man. So what should he do as leader of the Labour Party?

Despite the massive cuts in public services since 2010 the Tory party is substantially ahead of Labour in the polls. Founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the trade unions, the Labour Party’s purpose was to improve the conditions of the labouring classes. Which it did, especially after the Second World War.

Faced with defeat in the next general election, an honourable man would resign the leadership to allow someone to rescue the party. A selfish person would cling to power, as he does.
