Jahziah shines with bronze at Lee Valley meet

HIGHGATE Harrier Jahziah Williams was all smiles on Friday after he won a bronze medal at the Lee Valley Disability Open.
The talented 13-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, started the competition in style as he won both his heats in both the 60m and the 200m.
Jahziah, who goes to Swiss Cottage SEN School, raced to victory in his 60m heat with a time of 9.4 seconds, before clocking a winning time of 32.6 secs in the 200m.
The Islington youngster then capped a tremendous afternoon by finishing third in the 60m final, repeating his time of 9.4 secs, to earn himself a brilliant bronze.
Jahziah, who also finished a respectable fourth in the 200m final, has also been invited to train with the CPD National Development Squad.
