• WHY bring back the village streatery? (We plan to relaunch the streatery on April 13).

Exactly what purpose did it serve other than to bring in the foodie set from beyond this area?

I for one have no desire to live in a café society! We have more restaurants here than locals who actually use them.

Of all the ideas that could have been used to enhance our one open space, we just got more of the same.

Where we used to have a pleasant walk, we now face a row of constantly overflowing and stinking bins. This is not what we need here.

I object to losing a space which my children have always used to play in. Why should a few greedy and thoughtless cash-driven outsiders be allowed to take control of our village?

Get rid, once and for all! This is dead wood, best buried and forgotten.
