• IT is ludicrous for the Royal Free to move miles from London with difficulties of the travelling and for the sick and elderly, (Patients face long journeys for hospital services, October 11).

I travel to the Royal Free and pay £30 return for a private car. I have to pay £60 return (at twice a fortnight, £120) – more than I can afford. Let’s hope they have a rethink!
