It’s shameful the way TfL is hanging on to our money

• TRANSPORT for London is making up for its shortage of revenue with our money.
Once more, this week, I tried to have a refund of the money I paid for my Oyster card (I can use my contactless card instead), with the result that my card was cancelled and no money was given to me, excepting the balance I had in it.
As an explanation they have said that no refunds of the cost of an Oyster card are due any more on cards of less than a year since purchase. This is shameful and not the way to treat customers.
