• THANK you for printing the excellent review by Piers Plowright of my new crime-satire novel The Breaking of Liam Glass (Paper talk, June 29).

However, I must put the record straight in one respect. Your caption sadly credited the wrong bookshop. The launch party actually took place at our lovely local bookshop West End Lane Books.

Danny and Heidi run a wonderful shop and it was very much thanks to their hospitality and the friendly atmosphere there that the launch party went with such a swing. Credit should go where it’s due.
