Islington Borough Ladies’ Evie Smith

HOTSHOT Evie Smith is among the talented young players who are ready to showcase their skills this season when they step out onto the pitch for Islington Borough Ladies. 

The nine-year-old and her team-mates have been hard at training at Whittington Park in Holloway as they prepare for another testing campaign alongside the likes of Hampstead FC in the Capital Girls League. 

As a club Islington Borough is going from strength-to-strength, boasting Under-9s, 10s, 11s, 13s and 15s sides.

They also field a senior women’s squad (pictured above) who play in Division Two of the Greater London Women’s League. All the Islington teams are always on the look-out for new players to help bolster their squads.
