Is public urination to be a new trend on the streets of Hampstead?

Thursday, 8th September 2022

• THE team of men resurfacing South Hill Park included an employee who decided to pee in the road outside our office in Heath Hurst Road.

I offered him use of our loo and he said it was too late. He could have used the public toilets at South End Green, a few minutes walk, or any number of local cafés.

His response was in no way apologetic. He became aggressive and verbally abusive and could not see that public urination was not usual practice.

Is this the sort of service that Camden provide for their residents? What does the councillor in charge think about this sort of behaviour?

I was astounded that the man thought that this was acceptable. I have written to Cllr Stephen Stark to ask Camden to stop this sort of thing.

I hope that this isn’t a new trend on the streets of Hampstead, or best practice as set by Camden for its staff.
