THE power of football to bring people together was perfectly illustrated on Sunday night when a big screen was set up in Queen’s Crescent for everybody to watch the Euros final together.
Should we mention the final score? You all know what happened with England’s defeat to Spain in Berlin.

There was a moment when it looked like it might turn out differently this time. Cole Palmer’s equaliser had everybody in Ashdown Crescent on their feet.

The screen had been set up by the Queen’s Crescent Community Association with help from the council and Labtech.
