• I AM very sorry that Lloyds Bank in Kentish Town closed on Tuesday.

I understand that more than 100 in all will close by spring 2022. They say that 90 per cent of customers will have access to a branch within five miles of their home.

I will have the choice of the Camden or Holloway branches, both more difficult for me to visit as I get older.

I understand that more people now bank online and that fewer people visit their banks since Covid-19; but I will miss the personal service by the staff in Kentish Town branch.

My husband was a long-standing customer there and when he died, not only were the local staff very kind to me, but Lloyds’s HQ provided a bereavement service which was very helpful.

I wish all of the Kentish Town branch well and thank them for all their help to me and my husband over the years. I will miss both them and the branch.
