• RE the CNJ’s Cost of Surviving issue invitation for ideas on how to assist struggling residents (September 29), some suggestions:

– Start up a special fund to finance those in poverty, or give out hampers, like at Christmas;

– Donate clothing and shoes that people don’t need, and blankets and toiletries etc.
