• JUST read one in 10 shops on Camden High Street is boarded up and you report that Lidl is the latest now closing.

I live in Camden but gave up shopping here years ago due to its anti-car agenda. It’s sad that Camden Council do not recognise that most shoppers use cars not bikes.

I have been driving to either Brent Cross – or even Borehamwood so car-friendly – for my weekly shop. So am actually driving more in the car.

And I expect to see even more empty Camden shops in the future. Your loss!
