I shall vote to send a Labour MP to Westminster
Friday, 26th August 2022

Tulip Siddiq
• SIR Keir Starmer is not ideal but I will be voting Labour at the next general election.
My vote for the hard-working Tulip Siddiq will help send a Labour MP to Westminster and stop another entitled, asset-stripping Tory getting in.
So I was very sad to read that Steven Taylor and his colleagues in my local Constituency Labour Party are suggesting Sir Keir’s Labour is not decent, trustworthy or hopeful, (What is different about Labour under Sir Keir, August 18).
They know readers can’t depose Sir Keir as elected party leader for them, so why say all this stuff to us? It can only discourage Sir Keir’s constituents in Holborn & St Pancras from returning a Labour MP and spread a message of despair to everyone else.
Please can I ask if they want Labour to win the next election? If so, please respect us voters.
We can not help you with your grievances, but are desperate to hear more about Labour’s positive plans to help us rebuild our lives after years of Tory greed, theft, contempt, and abuse.
