I question the judgment of those who allowed Cllr Cohen to stand

• THE CNJ previously reported that seven of us, serving councillors, were considered unsuitable to represent Labour and were barred from standing again in the recent elections by Labour’s Local Campaign Forum, (Seventh Labour councillor barred by party from standing again at elections, March 4).
The seven of us, me included, had a total of 100 years’ service on Camden Council, 57 of them by former councillor Roger Robinson. Yet the LCF approved a candidate who lasted just 20 days on the council, leading to a possible cost of £20,000 to rearrange an election.
I respect former Councillor Adrian Cohen’s decision to stand down when he realised how much work was involved in serving his residents; but I question the judgment of those on the LCF that allowed him to stand.
