‘If elected by the members of the party I will alter the rules so that you will no longer have a say in who becomes your leader. Your job is done.

I will surround myself with Blairites and expel the former leader of the party from the PLP.

I will sack my left-wing rival for the leadership.

I will promote anyone involved the various coups and plots against the previous leader.

I will jettison all the party’s policies and rule without policies.

I will suspend and expel socialists.

I will shut down CLPs and impose my own preferred candidates.

I will rig selection panels.

I will deal with anti-Semitism by expelling or suspending Jewish members of the party.

I will bring back Lord Mandelson.

I will decide that discussions on my leadership and the former leadership of the party are out of order.

I will endorse Conservative policies and priorities, especially when it comes to Covid and foreign policy.

I will refuse to call for resignations even when evidence emerges of government wrongdoing.

I will reduce the number of party members by over100,000.

Any pledges I might have previously made regarding Europe or socialism or unity or democracy… will no longer apply.’
