I am appalled at the council for leaving rubbish dumped in street
Friday, 27th September 2019
• LITTER has been left outside premises in Albany Street NW1 and has not been collected for 12 days!
I reported it to eight Camden Council officials on September 11 with one declaring it as fly-tipping, yet it is still there, all over the pavement attracting rodents without any regard for health and safety being enforced.
I am appalled at the council and suggest this is now typical of Camden’s streets. Wherever I go, I see rubbish and this makes me feel ashamed to live in Camden.
No effort is made to identify this symptom of the council’s neglect. Yet, consistency is shown with vigilance, proactive management and action taken in producing revenue by having scouts or “enforcement officers” on mopeds patrolling the streets looking for the mildest of parking contraventions.
Prompt action is taken for a parking contravention, but an issue which is potentially a safety and health risk, brought to the attention of council officials has garnered no action or intervention.
