‘HS2 can ride roughshod over anyone’

• I AM not surprised there is no deadline for HS2, they have a blank government cheque and Camden Council can’t instigate any meaningful changes, (Fury as – after years of demolition and disruption in Camden – HS2 is delayed to the 2040s, March 16).

HS2 can ride roughshod over anyone.

This monstrous project will make a few companies and CEOs exceedingly rich while local residents will suffer and pay a higher long-term cost to our health. No one is assessing this harm.

HS2 know there are increasing rates of asthma, they know people breathe in their construction dust and hear their noise.

Did they remove all the asbestos from the blocks they demolished?

HS2 send out endless “updates” on high-quality paper, but they don’t give a damn about the impact on people and businesses. Why would they?

Like government they are above everything.
