Mr Richards may have been startled of course. Not so very long ago there were public baths in most boroughs. Bathhouses provided a very useful purpose.

I am so thrilled to hear how pristine Mr Richards finds the men’s toilets.

However, what on earth will happen to Mr Richards if he ever encounters a naked man saying, “Oh, I am sorry. I’m just having a wash down”, in the lovely new male toilets?
