• I WAS intrigued by the report that leaves in Camden parks were swept up by a blower because they might be diseased.

Veolia – or was it Camden – took the opposite view in Chetwynd Road where they piled the dead leaves round the bases of three trees outside the Chapel (Highgate Road end).

When the wind blew or someone kicked the leaves they ended up all over the pavement again, as well as attracting some litter.
