• DESPITE the sarcastic remarks and showers of statistics being thrown about by the anonymous Climate Emergency Camden and worse the “XR Zero Waste” person(s) neither they nor others have actually told us how the non-recyclable waste should be disposed of, (We must look to a low-carbon future and Now go out there and greenwash!, February 10).

The wishful thinking that pressure to improve recycling rates, and the grid being fully recarbonised by 2035, are no answer and to use their own term even more “greenwash”.

Please tell us how exactly do they propose that the inevitable non-recyclable waste is disposed of and where, now and in the near future if not in an incinerator and not in landfill?
