Their spokesperson says their soldiers only fired warning shots and most of the Gaza aid convoy dead were run over in a stampede.

Now it has emerged from hospitals that it is much worse than that; many of the dead and injured had bullet wounds and a minority suffered in the stampede.

This is only the worst among many lies, for example, previously that the Israelis are placing no obstacles on humanitarian aid and that UN Relief & Works Agency staff were involved in the October 7 massacre, for which no evidence was ever produced.

Why is it that western governments and media choose to believe Israeli propaganda? We should be better than this.
