• I WANTED to write in to say thanks to our fantastic councillor, Lorna Russell, who is stepping down from Fortune Green to stand in Highgate in May, where she now lives.

She has represented our ward and the Templar House estate for the past eight years and during this time has worked tirelessly to support residents living here.

She has always been available to help us and has been a visible and friendly face around the estate for many years.

For example, she has helped us to get our heating fixed, has secured vital repairs to our homes, and has helped us tackle anti-social behaviour here.

I wish her all the best in Highgate. They will be lucky to have her as a councillor.
