Teens can help with vital vaccine research

• THE people of London’s time, support and generosity in participating in Covid-19 vaccine research have helped save many lives from this awful virus.

We must continue research into how best to protect teenagers against Covid-19. The Com-COV 3 study, recruiting at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, will be vital to providing important information on young people’s immunity regarding booster jabs.

Research is rigorously regulated and adheres to the highest possible standards of safety. Volunteers will randomly receive options from existing vaccines such as the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, Novavax vaccine, or meningitis vaccine.

If you know somebody aged 12 to 15 who may be interested, their support could help this vital research. You can find out about volunteering by going to www.comcovstudy.org.uk/participate-comcov3
