THE Heath produced a spectacular turnaround to beat Crown & Manor on Friday in a thrilling contest in the Under-12s ‘A’ Division of the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League.

Title challengers The Heath dominated early possession, but were thwarted largely thanks to an inspired performance by goalkeeper Shay Snipes. Despite being at the opposite end of the table, Crown & Manor’s composed counterattacks saw them take a 2-0 lead at the break courtesy of clinical finishes from George John and Emir Han. The Heath upped their attacking pace in the second half and soon found themselves on level terms, with James Taylor and Dion Sfarca both finding the back of the net.

A neat passing move led to the winner, as Taylor scored his second of the game to earn The Heath a 3-2 victory and complete a major turnaround.

The Heath have now netted four wins and a draw from their opening five league games, leaving them level on points with FC Unity at the top of the table.

Two goals from Tristan Daley and a neat finish from JJ Conner saw the club’s Under-10s Channons side net a 3-1 victory over The Heath.

Blendi Vitija was voted Isledon’s player of the match after returning from injury to put in a solid defensive display.

Isledon’s Under-14s side were also victorious in their game against Westway. Two goals from star player Nicky Marshall and two from Teon Levy-Wright saw Wolves wrap up a comfortable three points.

Alfie Lusardi and Sammy Kisunga were also on target as Isledon’s whopping 47 shots on goal yielded a 6-0 win.
