THERE will be some added spice to this weekend’s game between Cobden Athletic (above) and MDM in Division One of the Camden Sunday League.

The two sides now know they will face each other at the end of the month in the Senior Cup final after overcoming their semi-final showdowns on Sunday.

Cobden had to be at their best to beat a resilient Surreal Madrid side 3-2 thanks to goals from Steven Bruce, man-of-the-match Patrick Jones, and Jason Williams.

MDM had a more nerve-wracking result as they beat The Hurricanes in a seven-goal thriller. Kwesi Marfo stole the show with a scintillating hat-trick, while Koby Billzy also found the back of the net to earn MDM a 4-3 victory.
