HOTSHOT Charlie Clarke scored a hat-trick as the boys from Haverstock School smashed in seven goals on Thursday to reach the semi-finals of the Camden and Islington Schools Cup. 

The Under-14s side. who hit our headlines last month after making the final of the English Schools Football Association Cup, put in a masterclass of finishing in their game against Islington’s Central Foundation School. 

Striker Charlie, pictured in the back row, far right, has now scored a staggering 43 goals in all competitions this season. 

Led by man-of-the-match Dean Shaughnessy, left back Nusret Ejupi and Bailey Johnston also chipped in with two goals each in a resounding 7-1 victory. 

Haverstock will have to be at their best in the final four as they play Islington’s St Aloysius for a place in the final.
