HIGHGATE Harrier Shaun Dixon has been rewarded for his “hard graft” with an England call-up.
Shaun, 30, has been in sensational form and, after catching the eye during the cross-country season, was invited to run for his country this Saturday in the UK Cross-Challenger in Cardiff.
Highgate team manager Ben Pochee said: “Shaun’s visible progress over the years has been a clear product of
team-inspired hard graft.
We are all extremely proud and over the moon for his England call-up.” Shaun led the line for Highgate on Saturday as all 12 of their scorers finished within the top 38 from a field of 350 in the men’s Metropolitan League meet in Horsenden Hill.
