Green candidates John Mansook and Sian Berry

GREEN Party candidate John Mansook said voters need to “look to the future” by siding with his party at next week’s general election.

He was speaking as candidates in the Hampstead and Kilburn constituency were given 60 seconds to provide voters with a final pitch at the end of the South Kilburn hustings on Wednesday night.

“The Green Party are about putting people first and we are – for me – the party of the future,” he said. “Previous governments keep trying to rehash the same way of doing things over and over again, and we’ve seen these social experiments with our schools and the NHS have led to no good, basically. In some cases, it’s ruined people’s lives.”
