FORMER Hammer Horror favourite Judy Jarvis admitted being a bit star-struck when she was reunited with actress Suzanna Leigh at the weekend.

They had not seen each other since both appeared in Lust for a Vampire in the 1970s, but met up to sign autographs for fans at the annual London Film Convention on Saturday.

Both achieved cult status after appearing in a series of blood-curdling horror flicks. Ms Leigh also played Elvis Presley’s “love interest” in the Paradise, Hawaiian Style comedy.

Ms Jarvis, née Matheson, who lives in Kentish Town, said: “She was starry – very like a Californian – but with a Roedean accent. I was a bit star-struck to be signing next to her. Well, she did kiss Elvis!

“It was wonderful to meet up for the first time since filming Lust For A Vampire in the 70s.”
