ARSENAL are staring down the barrel at yet more disappointment as they face missing out on another key summer transfer target.

The Gunners were gazumped by Chelsea in the race to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, with the Blues agreeing a £117m deal for the attacking midfielder.

With another of Arsenal’s wanna-buys, Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, pining for Barcelona, it turns out being the Premier League champions doesn’t give you first dibs in the transfer market after all.

Now, the north Londoners are braced for a hat-trick of snubs after reportedly contacting RB Leipzig to sound out a move for Yan Diomande. Boasting a £100m price tag, the winger seems set for a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

Plan B, however, could be to try and capitalise on Diomande’s potential move to France by testing PSG’s resolve to then keep hold of their current winger Bradley Barcola.
