BEST Newcomer: The returning Mathieu Flamini added some much-needed bite to the Arsenal midfield and, arguably, overshadowed the £43million man, Mesut Ozil.

Best Performance:  Take your pick of the three wins over Tottenham. Knocking them out of the FA Cup will hopefully seem even sweeter come Saturday evening. And let’s not forget the 1-0 victory at Borussia Dortmund.
 
Best Goal: As Match of the Day viewers will already know, it’s Jack Wilshere’s vs Norwich. The England midfielder finished off a slick passing move. If you haven’t seen it, climb out from under your rock and savour all its majesty on YouTube right now, and prepare to be amazed!

Best Chant: Forget chants, the award has to go to the Arsenal players for their painfully embarrassing rendition of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. Worst ever FA Cup final song!

Flop of the Season:  Arsene Wenger. Make no mistake, I still think he’s the right man for the job. But his failure to sign a proven goalscorer cost Arsenal. Just think what Suarez would have added to their team!

Player of the Season: Aaron Ramsey left us dreaming of what might have been had he not got injured. His spectacular volley at Norwich on Sunday was a reminder of just what Arsenal had been missing.
