ARSENAL Ladies’ manager Pedro Martinez Losa believes his side deserved to beat Chelsea following Thursday’s goalless draw in the Women’s Super League at Wheatsheaf Park. 

The previous meeting between the London rivals ended with The Blues winning 2-1 and ending the Gunners’ hopes of capturing the FA Women’s Cup for a third year in a row. 

Losa admitted he was pleased with how much his side have improved since then. He said: “We prepared and learned from the previous defeat. I really think this time we won the football and the mental battle. We probably had three or four chances that should have been a goal whereas they probably only had one. We deserved the win more than they did.”
