CAMDEN Elite will be looking to unleash their not-so-secret weapon when they take on title rivals FC Unity in the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League.

Star striker Dion Sfarca has been in sensational form for the Under-13s side at Market Road. He scored a hat-trick in their previous game, a 4-1 victory over Cricklewood Wanderers.

But that was a tame return for this hotshot, who scored a staggering eight goals when Camden Elite beat CM Futsal 11-0 recently.

FC Unity are currently three points clear at the top of the Under-13s ‘A’ Division table having played a game more than Elite. That could all change when the two sides meet on November 20, especially if Dion does his thing!

Netman David fires West End in title chase thriller

WEST End FC’s Under-12s kept up their title chase on Saturday with a thrilling 3-0 victory over Jolof FC in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.

The high-flying blue and yellows played a formation that relied on skipper Mason Kirkwood as the sole defender, with midfielders Luc Carrier Sanders and Burt Thorne providing a flexible defensive shield.

Striker Jamie Isaacs hit a double, including a contender for goal-of-the-season that saw him smash the ball home from the edge of the box.

Thorne also scored a beauty as he found the back of the net with an overhead kick after being tee’d up by a Carrier Sanders free kick.

Jolof fought back well in the second half but were kept at bay by player-of-the-match West End keeper David Langford, who made four crucial saves.
