• IF charities like GOAL are to continue to provide a safe space, fun activities and advice and guidance to young people in Gospel Oak, we need a permanent home (Cuts cause a shock rise in violence, October 12).

The Dome’s a wonderful temporary home, but on a short lease. Uncertainty about future facilities in the area is beginning to affect our ability to raise funds.

Highgate is getting a first class community and youth centre; young people here deserve the same.
