FIRST there was David Beckham, then Wayne Rooney, and last season even Stoke’s Charlie Adam got in on the action.

Now Arsenal wonderkid Trae Coyle has added his name to an élite list of players who have scored spectacular goals from the half-way line.

A video has surfaced showing the highly-rated 14-year-old, who lives in Chalk Farm, succeeding with an audacious strike straight from kick-off.

But this isn’t footage taken at Market Road against mates during a friendly kick-about – but against an under-15s side from one of the biggest clubs in the world, Barcelona.

The St Aloysius College pupil hit our headlines this summer when he helped Islington gain a silver medal in the London Youth Games.

If he continues to show sparkling form like this, how long will it be before those headlines are celebrating him making his first-team debut for the Gunners?
