Give us reliable heating, Camden
Thursday, 18th April 2019
• I LIVE in sheltered accommodation for the elderly. One would have thought the most basic need would be reliable heating when it is cold, but we have a system where there is no heating when it is cold but heating when it is warm.
This is not one-off, it is continual. My neighbour Helen is over 90, how she survives amazes me. I can go to my volunteer-run library, she cannot. She must have super genes because the rest drop dead.
I ask myself why does Camden do this to us? Do they just want to get rid of us as quickly as possible? Or is it because they find the cheapest? Only to waste money when it doesn’t work.
